Last Monday, Lisa’s brother Mike, overslept. He ran to the
bus stop, but he missed the bus. He missed the bus because he
fell and hurt his ankle. Mike’s mother took him to the hospital by
taxi.
 “What’s wrong?” asked the doctor.
 “I fell and hurt my ankle,” said Mike.
   The doctor looked at Mike’s ankle. It was okay. He said,“You can

go home now. Be careful!”
   Mike was upset because he wanted to go to school. He
didn’t want to miss PE class.

    麦克缺课
  上个星期一丽莎的哥哥麦克睡过头了。他跑着去公共汽车站，但却错过
了公共汽车。他错过了公共汽车是因为他摔倒了，扭伤了脚踝。麦克的妈妈
叫了出租车把他送到了医院。
“出什么事了？”医生问。
“我摔倒了，扭伤了脚踝。”麦克说。
  医生检查了麦克的脚踝，没有大问题。他说：“你现在可以回家了，小
心点！”
  麦克很沮丧，因为他想去学校，不想错过体育课
